New Mexico State Police officers are investigating the death of a single person following a house fire on Sunday (12/28) off of U.S. Highway 84/285.
State Police Officer Amanda Richards wrote in an email that she could confirm the fatality and the State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
She did not answer the question if the person killed had been identified, nor did she provide any other information about the fire.
