I am writing to comment on the light parade held this past weekend. The event overall seemed to be quite successful and well organized. I would like to congratulate all organizers and participants of the event.
However, our group had some misfortune and I am hoping that someone will come forth and help out. As we were transporting our float to the parade our rocking chair fell off our float. We were stopped by a car that was following us to let us know it was lying in the road (State Road 76). We had someone immediately go to pick it up but it was gone.
We are asking that whoever took our rocking chair please return it, no questions will be asked. The rocking chair is a family heirloom and has many cherished memories attached to it. During this Christmas season we hope the spirit of honesty and goodwill will prevail and bring back our rocking chair.
