Julie Higbee, age 55,
a resident of Pojoaque passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Lucy Cordova. Julie is survived by her husband, Richard Higbee and son, Michael Higbee, both of Pojoaque; brother, Ben Cordova and wife Charlene of Colorado; 3 sisters, Elaine Willis and husband Arnie of Farmington, Margaret Brow and husband J.D. of Farmington, Gina Cordova of Albuquerque and a number of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. A rosary was recited Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pojoaque. Memorial Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by burial at the Pojoaque Cemetery.
