VIVIAN P. SALAZAR

  Age 71, of Santa Fe, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on February 14, 2009, following a lengthy illness with her family by her side.

  She is preceded in death by her son Richard “Ric” Salazar; parents Jose and Trinidad Jacquez; brothers, Carlos and Juan Jacquez; and sister Virginia Serrano.

  She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Gilbert Salazar; son Michael and wife Robin; daughters, Sandra and husband Conrad, Veronica Purcell, Molly and husband Lenny; grandchildren: Andrew, Jeramie, Raquel, and Shyane; step grandchildren: Aspen, Rain Bear, Jessie and Jared; brothers: Cris and wife Ingrid, Frank and wife Loyola, Uvaldo, Phillip and wife Lita; sisters: Isabel Lucero, Mary Espinoza and companion Bobby, Sylvia Middleton and Trinny Sellars; brother-in-laws, Alfonso and wife Feliz, Alex, Phil and wife Abby and Ben. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces that she loved and adored very much.

  Serving as Pallbearers are: Dominic Jacquez, Cristian Middleston, Jason Espinoza, Matthew Martinez, James Sellars and Jeramie Purcell.

  A Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2009, 5 p.m. at St. John’s Church with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 19, 2009, 9 a.m. at St. John’s Church followed by another rosary at Noon at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe in Gallina, NM where she will be buried.
