Mesa Vista lost 70-61 in overtime to Santa Rose March 13 in the semifinals of the Class AA boys basketball tournament.
Trojan guard Frankie Giron had sent the game into overtime with a three-pointer at the fourth quarter buzzer.
Mesa Vista had a 30-25 lead at halftime and were led by Jaime Cruz who finished with 34 points.
