(SUNfoto by George Morse) Española Valley freshman Antonio Garcia had an impressive debut in his first varsity start at quarterback for the Sundevils Oct. 16 against Taos. Garcia completed 7-of-9 passes for 56 yards and one touchdown, but the Sundevils couldn’t hang on to a 7-6 halftime lead. They lost 39-22 to the Tigers.
