Pojoaque Woman Wins Butterfly Run for First Time Since 2004

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Runners take off at the start of the 10-kilometer race at the Butterfly Run June 20 at the Pojoaque Wellness Center. Kenya’s MacDonald Ondarg (Number 849) finished first, while fellow Kenyan Aron Rono (847) finished second. Rono won the 5-kilometer race that followed the 10 kilometer. Pojoaque assistant cross country coach Abraham Kosgei (840) finished fourth overall in the 10 kilometer.
