Old Teammates Meet Again at Santa Clara Run

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Julian Cata (#60) and Jude Chavarria (#76) of the Khap’o Running Club take off fast at the start of the five-kilometer run at the Healthy Heart, Mind and Soul Run July 11 at Santa Clara Pueblo. Cata and Chavarria finished first and second in the 14-year-old-and-under age group. They would finish first (Chavarria) and second in the 14 and under age class. They were 23rd and 24th overall. Michael Pecusa (#57) finished 12th overall, while Peñasco’s Joshua Sam (#84) and Kyle Fernandez (#89) finished third and fourth overall.
