Howie Aguino of La Mesilla is running for the board from District 5, for a seat that represents Ohkay Owingeh and other parts of Rio Arriba County east of the Rio Grande, against Nick Naranjo, also of La Mesilla. Elias Cortiz of Chimayó is running for another District 5 board seat, against Harold "Charlie" Trujillo, also of Chimayó.
