Man denied alcohol does his best camel impression

(SUNfoto by Wheeler Cowperthwaite) Emergency responders mill around a two-car crash Jan. 5 on North Riverside Drive, involving an Ohkay Owingeh Police Department officer and a white Volvo. Officer Joseph Wright told dispatchers he had gotten into a minor crash with the white Volvo. An elderly male, who said he was experiencing pain, was transported to the hospital in an ambulance and both vehicles were driven from the scene. Española Police Det. Cpl. Solomon Romero investigated the crash, dispatch logs state.
