How long will our governor violate our rights guaranteed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights?
Now she is destroying New Mexico’s biggest industry, tourism, by requiring visitors to quarantine for 14 days when they come to New Mexico. Most people visit our state for two or three days.
This new order effectively closes all of the hotels and motels to out-of-state visitors, also destroying not only tourism by the hotel industry.
The state of New Mexico has a COVID-19 infection rate of .002 percent and a death rate of .005 percent. Rio Arriba County is even less.
Wake up, New Mexico. Time to let the governor know she needs to start governing and stop playing politics.
If you check the NM.gov web site, she is also asking you to turn in your neighbors for violating her rules. These are the same tactics use by Stalin and Hitler to control the population of Russia and Germany.
It is time to ask the question: What is this really about?
