San Pedro Woman Appointed New Commissioner

Christine Bustos was appointed Feb. 12 by the governor to be the new District 2, Rio Arriba County commissioner. She replaces Leo Jaramillo, who in November 2020 won election to the District 5 senate seat but was appointed early to the senate, due to outgoing senator Richard Martinez’s resignation.
