Boys Basketball: Los Alamos OR Pojoaque vs. Española Valley

The Sundevils’ only hopes at making the state tournament seemingly rest on winning an automatic berth through the district tournament. But if they can get past their first game, a semifinal at home, they will have a shot at Taos, who they have played close and have a chance at winning.

Women’s Basketball: Haskell Indian Nations vs. Northern New Mexico

The Lady Eagles have made it through the season with just five players, and now face the conference tournament, having qualified as a No. 7 seed. If they can knock off the No. 2 seed, and win again to make the final, they will get to the national tournament.

Girls Basketball: TBD vs. Escalante

The Lady Lobos, winners of eight straight, might be the hottest team in 2A right now, and their reward is a home game for the district title. Last year’s district championship game was a blowout, but this year should be a much tougher task, especially if Mesa Vista is the opponent.

Boys Basketball: TBD vs. Escalante

Escalante looks to secure a district tournament championship for the second-straight year, and again they get to play at home for the final. But Mesa Vista is hot, should they make the final, having won their last three games all by at least 33 points. And if McCurdy knocks them off beforehand, the Bobcats already have a win against the Lobos.
