A La Vista Del Rio resident, who did not want his name used, speaks at a March 23 community meeting in Española. Owners of the low-income, federally-subsidized property blamed out-of-control crime for their decision to shutter, but city officials revealed at the meeting what they say is the real reason: La Vista Del Rio is in foreclosure, and owner Bosley Management is unable to pay off its loans on the property.
