I was traveling thru Espanola Deecember 22 to get to Texas from Taos. It was dark and cold out. I did not quite make it to Española and my tire on my pickup blew out.
I am 74 years old with medical issues and was not around any kind of business that could help me. I did need help as I can not lift things due to a back injury. Fortunately I encountered a gentleman from Jemez Electrial Coop, Jesus Guzman who no doubt had things to do but he volunteered to help.
He really was a lifesaver as I had already had spent 30 minutes working and was struggling. He not only helped me but called a co-worker with a hydralic jack to come to where we were. The Chevy pickup truck I was driving had a jack that was a joke and would not even go high enough to be of any use — worthless.
It was so kind. If you know Jesus buy him a donut or beer, you are lucky that a great person like him lives in your communiy. Jesus saved me right before Christmas. Thank you ever so much.
