The Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s Office will get some new vehicles thanks to federal funds from the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024, championed by Congresswoman Teresa Leger-Fernandez. Each new vehicle costs about $100,000 after it’s outfitted with all the necessary equipment and technology.
