Kaydence Arrey, Española Valley Girls Tennis
The Sundevils’ No. 4 singles player had a perfect weekend as her team defeated Los Alamos, Santa Fe Prep and St. Michael’s. Arrey won her matches 6-2, 6-2; 6-4, 6-3; and 7-5, 6-0. She also won both of her doubles matches along with partner Vanessa Martinez.
Cienna Muller, Pojoaque Valley Softball
In the fourth inning of a loss to Hope Christian, Muller hit a line drive perfectly into right field, and when it got past the outfielder, and the senior ran all the way around the bases for her first career home run. That was part of an 8-run rally that put Pojoaque ahead, though they ultimately lost the game.
