The Española Valley Sundevils football team traveled to Albuquerque Saturday to face the St. Pius Sartans in a state play-off game at Nusenda Community Field in hopes of advancing. However, the Sundevils hopes for the state finals were dashed, as St. Pius won, 31-22.
