Angie J. Martinez,
age 60 of Espanola, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday Dec. 27th, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents Ernesto and Lucy Romero, Brother In Law Franklin Rick Manges, and her late husband Gilbert Martinez.
She is survived by her daughter Jackie Martinez and husband Patrick Garcia of Las Vegas, NM., husband Dennis Salazar of Espanola, brother Donald Romero and companion Leonor Valdivia of Albq., sister Rose Manges of Santa Cruz, grandchildren Miguel and Elena Garcia, her special pet cat “Leo”, nieces and nephews, Edwina Romero, Regina Romero, Ricky, Nicholas and Jonathan Manges, great-nephew Nathaniel Manges, step-children Kenneth Salazar and Teri Romano, step-grandchildren Dominick, Diego, Lucas and Tessa, special friends, Tammy Myers, Elaine Chavez and Rosella Atencio-Gerst. No public visitation will be held, the rosary was recited on Tuesday evening Dec. 30th at 7:00pm in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am at La Inglesia de Santa Cruz de La Canada. Interment was held at Holy Cross Cemetary.
