Ashley Kimberly Garcia

Ashley Kimberly Garcia, age 19, a resident of La Villita, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 19, 2008 at the family home. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas E. Garcia; great-grandmother, Adela Trujillo; and uncle Eric Bustos Sr. She is survived by her significant other, Anthony Martinez; mother Elizabeth Garcia; father, Harold R. Bustos and wife Nora; brothers Joshua Garcia and wife Jessica, Ricky Bustos, Nicholas Bustos; sister, Dawn Aldaz and husband James; grandparents, Johnny and Dorothy Pacheco, Elias and Dora Bustos; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and 1 nephew; Juan, and many friends. Public visitation was on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Alcalde, with a rosary following at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Alcalde, with burial following at the La Villita Catholic Cemetery. Assisting the family, as pallbearers were: Marcos Vigil, Jacob Montez, Eric Bustos, Markita Vigil, Samantha Chavez and Philip Martinez-(Nano). Honorary pallbearers were, Robin Sanchez, Saydy Quintana, Gabrielle Romero, Heather Martinez, Nicole Garcia and Bernadette Gonzales. The family of Ashley Kimberly Garcia has placed the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home of the Española Valley.
