Editor:
I live in Southern California and subscribe to the Rio Grande SUN. My families, the Quintana/Martinez families, have been in the Rio Grande Valley for over 300 hundred years.
I enjoy receiving the newspaper weekly. I always find very interesting articles and it is nice to see an article about someone I know personally. I especially enjoyed reading about the Bataan Death March in your April 9 edition, but was surprised my uncle was not mentioned in the article.
He was a prisoner of ware who did come back to the Espanola Valley. It has been exactly one year since he passed away, April 13, 2008. In the past, you have interviewed him and did two other articles on him so it was surprising his name was not mentioned.
His name was Jose L. Quintana and he lived behind the Club Tropicana.

(Editor’s note: Mr. Quintana’s name being omited was an error in transcribing the names from another list. If any other names were left out, please write.)
