Beatrice Gallegos

    Beatrice Gallegos, 72, Santo Niño, died peacefully at her sister’s home Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008.  She was born May 17, 1936 to Miguel and Guadalupita Gomez and was preceded in death by her parents.

    Ms. Gallegos was an active member of Las Hermanas de San Antonio at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Hernandez.  Her hobbies included singing and dancing.

    She is survived by her three sisters, Teodora Martinez, Cordelia Martinez and Teresa Valdez; two half-sisters, Sandra Maldonado and Isabelle Gomez and many nephews, nieces and other relatives and close friends.

    A rosary will be recited Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Santo Niño Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Alcalde.
