Bernard St. Louis, age 81 and Clorinda Garcia St. Louis, age 75, formerly from Rio Chama and Rio Rancho, New Mexico and most recently residents of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Clorinda was born on December 11, 1932 to the late Frutoso and Susana Garcia. Clorinda was a Loving wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lost her husband Bernard E. St. Louis, 81, of Indianapolis, IN on September 9, 2008. Bernard was born on June 20, 1927 to the late Mark and Minni St. Louis. He was a member of the United States Navy, who enlisted at Pearl Harbor and in the Korean War. Bernard was also a member of the American Legion and VFW. He worked as an electronic technician for the Federal Government from which he retired in 1989. On January 16, 1953 Bernard married his loving wife Clorinda (Garcia) St. Louis. Bernie & Clorinda are survived by their children: Bernie, Annette, Susan, Doreen, Debra, Janice, Dale and Jeanie: one very special grandson Maverick Harris, 10 other grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. They are also survived by brothers and sisters: Martha St. Louis, Sylvia St. Louis, Victoria St. Louis, Joann St. Louis, Yvonne St. Louis, Marianita and husband Gary Fergus, Dorila Garcia, Frutoso Garcia, Bernardo Garcia, Samuel and wife Melodie Garcia, Judy Manzanares: one uncle Melquiades Manzanares and sister-in-law Inez Garcia. Bernie and Clorinda were preceded in death by their parents: Mark and Minnie St. Louis and Frutoso and Susana Garcia: brothers and sisters: Edwin St. Louis, Victor St. Louis, Myrtle St. Louis, Lois St. Louis, Edward Garcia and Ventura Garcia. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the San Antonio Chapel in Medanales, and burial will follow at the Medanales cemetery.
