Billy Vigil, 44, Chimayó, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sebedeo and Aurelia Vigil and his grandparents.
Mr. Vigil was a caregiver for over 26 years. He loved his sports cars, fishing and building the family home but most of all his life and love was his wife and three children.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Encinias Vigil, Chimayó; children, Matthew Encinias and Ivan and Caprice Vigil, all of Chimayó and numerous relatives and friends.
A rosary was recited April 24 in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 25 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayó. Burial followed at the Nuestra Señora de Dolores Catholic Cemetery in Chimayó with the following serving as pallbearers, Devon Potter, Sean Hally, David Valdez, Antonio Garcia, Bruno Romero and Bill Richards.
