Brenda Rael, was raised in Cordova, NM, born on May 6, 1963 and passed away on December 18, 2023.
Brenda is preceded in death by her loving mother Prescilla T. Romero; daughter Priscilla Rael; sister Flora D. Lopez and husband Joe; grandparents Vidal and Rosarito Trujillo; father-in-law Joe Rufino Martinez; uncle and aunt Chris and Grace Trujillo; nephews Donny Lee Romero and Joseph Lopez; niece Amanda Romero.
Brenda went to be with her loved ones in heaven. She was a beautiful, caring, kind and thoughtful person. She loved to relax at home with her pj’s and stay warm with a cup of coffee and a good book or game and as she said “I’m set”. She loved her family dearly, missed her mom and daughter tremendously. She loved her son and oldest granddaughter Aliyah and her grandchildren so much.
Brenda is survived by son Douglas Rael; grandchildren Aliya Rael Lopez, Catalina Salazar, Amanda Salazar, Josiah Salazar, Adrian Salazar, Shayna Rael, Mia Rael and Lexy Rael; sisters Mary Rascon, Vicky Romero and Betty Lou Rose (AJ); brother Gilbert and wife Carol; father of her children Genaro Rael.
Brenda will be dearly missed by all. Rest in peach my love. Gone but not forgotten and at true peace in your family’s eternal arms in heaven. Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Services are on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Holy Family Church in Chimayo NM, with a Rosary at 1:00 pm, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow in Cordova Catholic Cemetery in Cordova, NM.
