I urge anyone interested in the preservation of our environment and the welfare of future generations in the Rio Arriba to support the Jemez Mountain Electric Cooperative candidates managed by “member-owner Luis Torres.”
These candidates, Patrick Herrera, Stanley Crawford and Bruce Duran support the vision of alternative energy for the Co-op and represent a democratic, community-based alternative for our energy needs in the future. The focus for these candidates is on bringing more renewable energy to the service area covered by Jemez Co-Op.
They also support mail-in voting for future board elections.
I have known and had the opportunity to work with both Luis Torres and Stanley Crawford since the 1970s and ‘80s. They are people of integrity, have vision and creativity, and you can count on them to do what they say. They believe in the future of our community. They will listen to your concerns and they want to work with you to solve the issues confronting the climate crisis in the Rio Arriba and the world.
