Carmelita M. Trujillo, 92, Chimayó, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Natividad and Eloisa Martinez; sister, Vicentita B. Martinez; brother, Esquipula B. Martinez and Escolastico Martinez.
Mrs. Trujillo is survived by her daughters, Maria Eloyda Trujillo, Irene Trujillo, and Consuelo Salazar, all of Chimayo; two grandsons, one granddaughter and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 10 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Burial followed at Nuestra Señora de Dolores Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Brian, Randy and James C. Salazar, Yvonne Gibson, James Salazar and Flavio Martinez.
