Carolyn Tafoya
Carolyn Tafoya, 78, Santa Clara Pueblo, died following a lengthy illness, Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008.
Mrs. Tafoya retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1992 after 43 years. She was an active member of the Santa Clara Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Damacio and Patrocinia Tafoya; brothers, Louis, Ignacio Naranjo, and Dale Tafoya; sisters, Virginia Tafoya, Albedia Tafoya and Christine Montoya.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Yepa; two grandsons; sisters, Victoria Dasheno, Genevieve Suazo, and Marie Lyon, many godchildren, nieces, nephews and family members.
A rosary was held Nov. 2 at the family home. Mass of Christian Burial was held Nov. 3 at the Santa Clara Catholic Church in Santa Clara. Burial followed at the Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery.
