County to Take Over Alcalde Cemetery

“I am 76 years old and I just can’t handle it anymore,” Don Johnson, the owner of La Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde, said. He plans to donate the Cemetery to Rio Arriba County. The County Commission unanimously voted on a resolution, Jan. 25, to finalize the donation process.
