Denise C. Herrera
age 37 of Bernalillo, NM. Passed away on Saturday February 28, 2009. Denise was a very loving, giving, considerate and patient person. She loved camping, fishing, swimming and dancing. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Naomi Herrera, grandfather Ramon Herrera, grandfather Delfino Archuleta, grandfather Joseph Romero, uncles: Raymond Archuleta and Luis Herrera. She is survived by her parents Andrew and Eileen Herrera of Chamita, children: Michael Rodriguez of Chamita, Andrea Rodriguez of Chamita, and Ryan Rodriguez of Chamita, granddaughter: Natasha Martinez of Chamita, companion: Marvin Estrada, brother: Joseph Archuleta of Chamita, sisters Elizabeth Herrera of Espanola and April Herrera of Espanola, grandmother: Candy Romero, God-mother Modesta Padilla and many aunts and uncles. Recitation of the rosary will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 pm at Block Salazar Mortuary. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1:00 pm also at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Chamita cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerome Medina, Jimmy Medina, Joseph Archuleta, Eddie Herrera, Jr., Dominic Joseph, Chris Archuleta, and Marvin Estrada.
