‘Devils take fourth at ‘Topper meet

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Española Valley High School’s James Vigil pinned Los Alamos’ Trevor Nickless enroute to taking first place in the 132-pound weight class at the Bryan Sanchez Memorial wrestling meet Feb. 8 at Los Alamos. Vigil had been wrestling at 126 pounds but moved up in weight class at Los Alamos. The Sundevils finished fourth in the team standings, scoring 73 points. Española competes in the District 2AAAA wrestling championships Saturday in Bernalillo.
