Dulce Student Captures Spelling Bee Crown

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Dulce Middle School sixth-grader Santiago Martinez spelled “origami” correctly to win the 2010 Rio Arriba County Spelling Bee. San Juan Elementary sixth-grader Dayna Campbell came in second place in a competition that drew spellers from all of the County’s public school districts and multiple private and pueblo schools.
