Edna Arlene Kimes Schiffbauer
Born on August 6th, 1921 in Silver, Arkansas, died on April 22, 2009 in Alamogordo, NM. Edna passed away peacefully surrounded by the love, care and music of her family.
She is survived by daughter Jean Jenkins and husband Tom; sons Ken Ley and wife Carol; Ron Ley and wife Rose; Glenn Schiffbauer and wife Kim; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Edna lived most of her life in the Espanola Valley where she raised her family and made many friends. She retired from the NM Transportation Dept. in 1987. She most enjoyed taking walks, volunteering at the Jemez House Thrift Store and watching her hummingbirds.
The family will hold a celebration of her life later this summer.
