Edwardo Martinez, 88, Albuquerque, died Saturday, April 25, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose E. and Clotilde Martinez and sister, Stella Martinez.
Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lorraine Martinez; children, Myra Martinez, Louisa Garcia, and Jose “Pres” Martinez; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe Martinez and Junior Martinez and numerous other relatives and friends.
A rosary was recited April 29 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today (4/30) at 11 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial will follow at the El Guique Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Adam Valdez, Mario Garcia, Chad Morris, Mike Roybal, Derek Padilla and Brad Valdez.
