Elkettes fare better at Rio Rancho

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Pojoaque Valley High School’s Meagan Wheeler goes up for a hit against the Hope Christian Huskies in the Elkettes 16-25, 23-25, 25-19, 19-25 loss to Hope in the Rio Rancho Volleybash tournament at Cleveland High School. The Elkettes came back to beat Los Alamos 3-0 in their final match of the tournament. Pojoaque is 4-4 on the season under first-year head coach Miquella Lovato.
