(Photo by Scot Stinnett, DeBaca County News) Escalante’s Rosendo Avalos makes a reception with Fort Sumner linebacker Leighton Finney defending. Avalos caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Reynaldo Atencio in the first half that gave the Lobos a 21-6 lead. Avalos finished the game with three receptions for 30 yards.
