Regarding the Española attorney who claims she married one day and then just days later her new husband adopted her children (Contractor’s Death Sets off Feud, Rio Grande SUN, Jan. 22, 2009, page A2), an adoption in a couple of days? Who was the judge who made this possible? It took us a whole year to acquire legal guardianship for our nephew. Are judges just as crooked?
As for the adoptive father being blind, did he really know what he was signing? This adoptive father was so sick and weak he couldn’t even stand on his own two feet. These children will someday know their natural father really did sell them.
Judges and lawyers are not Gods, but we trust them to do their jobs honestly and with justice in mind. They must be honest and moral to admit that what is corrupt and morally wrong will be on their conscience forever.
We must remember there is only one honest judge and lawyer and that is God and we don’t know what He has in store for us in this world or the next.
The only weapon we in this life have is love and faith.
