Ferran Charged in Ojo Caliente Murders

(Courtesy photo) Donald Ferran, 28, of Ojo Caliente, was charged with two open counts of murder for the February deaths of Joey Maestas, 25, of Hernandez, and his friend Sara Salazar, 27, of Española. The victims were found in the early-morning hours of Feb. 28 inside a burned-out car parked at a rest stop near Ojo Caliente.
