Fire Training Building Arrives

A piece of equipment in the form of a “burn building” was delivered Tuesday morning to the Española Fire Department’s Industrial Park Road location. It will take about three weeks to construct the building, Assistant Fire Chief John Wickersham said. Once it’s complete, firefighters will be able to train in Española, rather than having to travel to Socorro. The building left Missouri Monday.
