CHAMA RIVER: The water flows Monday morning below El Vado and Abiquiú dams were 541 cubic feet per second and 790 cubic feet per second, respectively.
EAGLE NEST LAKE: The trout fishing from the bank was very good as several anglers reported catching limits.
HERON LAKE: The bank fishing for trout near the spillway was fair using power bait, roe sacs and spinners.
FENTON LAKE: The fishing was very good for trout up to 15 inches using dark green and black Pistol Petes, gold and red spinners and salmon egg/corn combinations.
RIO GRANDE: The water flow near the Taos Junction Bridge Monday morning was 1,000 cubic feet per second. The fishing was slow.
SANTA CRUZ LAKE: The trout fishing was very good using power bait, salmon eggs, corn, worms, spoons and spinners.
