A message to the people who think black Americans are whining constantly about prejudice and need to shut up:
Were your ancestors, 400 years ago, abducted, chained to be thrown on ships, and shipped as slaves to the Americas to be sold, separated from family, raped, and continue as slaves until the end of the U. S. civil war? Were they continually raped, lynched, denied basic human rights, terrorized by groups such as the Ku Klux Clan, denied voting rights and murdered? Have you had family threatened with nooses, unlawfully harassed and/or arrested, or killed, disproportionately executed?
Do you really think they have it so good now because things have changed?
I don’t know about you, but I think our African American brothers and sisters have been pretty forgiving and gracious.
