Four Sundevil Wrestlers Finish Eighth at Invite

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Española Valley’s Santiago Quintana pinned Deming’s Ryan Sibbett on his way to winning the 220-pound weight class title at the Jaguar Invitational Dec. 14 at Capital High School in Santa Fe. Quintana defeated Santa Fe’s Isaac Romero and Los Alamos’ John Derner to win the title. The Sundevils finished eighth in the team standings with 66.5 points despite having just four wrestlers in the competition.
