The deadline to apply for Fiscal Year 2009 funding under the Environmental Quality and the Wildlife Habitat incentive programs is April 3.
Funding is available under the former program to farmers and ranchers who face threats to soil, water, air and related natural resources. The latter program is voluntary for private landowners who want to develop and improve habitat for wildlife populations.
