(SUNfoto by Wheeler Cowperthwaite) Española Police Officer Chris Blea searches Jacob Campbell’s backpack Aug. 27 behind the Desert Sun car dealership. Parole and Probation officers reported Campbell, 31, and a woman for suspicious behavior. Campbell gave the officers false names and dates of birth, which led to the concealing identity charge. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
