(SUNfoto by George Morse) Runners young and old participated in the second annual Dixon Fun Run May 19 at Dixon to benefit Dixon Elementary. Megan Johnson (with stroller), of Dixon, pushed her 10-month old son Rio, who feel asleep during the journey along the 2.9-mile course. Dixon resident Scott Valdez was the overall winner with a time of 17:04. Race organizer and Española Valley cross country coach Chris Kedge said the event raised $800 for the school.
