Goodwill Industries of New Mexico’s new store in Española is great news. Goodwill helps people get meaningful, secure jobs. They help thousands of New Mexicans each year. Goodwill strengthens communities. The new center in Española will bring better access to a number of free job-related programs such as:
• Working with local businesses to connect qualified candidates with employment opportunities;
• Individual training in developing computer skills and other employment basics;
• Veteran assistance in areas such as employment, housing and accessing social services for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness;
• Providing low income seniors with work experience and training needed to secure full time employment;
• A training center equipped with computers and internet service, available for job search and application seven days a week.
Goodwill needs our support by shopping there, and by donating gently used items. It makes all this happen by selling donated goods and through financial donations. I feel that Goodwill will be a great asset to my beloved hometown. Come by the new store and learn more.
