Sunday morning while driving through Onate Street I was disgusted by the trash left behind after the Christmas light parade and the disrespect people have for our city. There were beer bottles, Wendy’s bags, diapers, cans and other trash left everywhere.
Why can’t we have an enjoyable event and take pride in what might be the event of the year to welcome Christmas without leaving the city trashed?
People need to have respect and take their trash with them, what are we teaching our children. It is now an added financial cost to tax payers and a burden to the city to have this trash picked up. People wake up and keep our beautiful Española Valley Clean.
