Homecoming victory sweet for Sundevils

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Española Valley running back Tommy Trujillo gets dragged down by a Gallup tackler in Española’s 30-22 win over the Bengals at Española. Trujillo would leave the game with an injury in the second quarter. His replacement, David Martinez, ran for a touchdown in the second half to give Española a 30-14 lead. The Sundevils led 24-6 at halftime. Española plays at Taos Friday at Taos.
