Josephine “Pina” Sanchez, 76, Velarde, died Saturday, April 25, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victoriana and Plutarco Sanchez; and brother, Steve Sanchez.
Mrs. Sanchez loved her music and enjoyed dancing, traveling and was not afraid to get on exciting rides at Disneyland. While hindered with being handicapped, she never let it get in the way of living her life to the fullest.
She is survived by her sisters and brothers, Esther Barrett, Velarde; Marge Gentry, San Bruno, Calif.; Ernie Sanchez, Salem, Ore. and Gene Sanchez, Lakeport, Calif. and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation is being planned. Services are pending.
