(SUNfoto by George Morse) McCurdy’s Jacqueline Maestas slides safely into third base for the Lady Bobcats in McCurdy’s 9-8 come-from-behind victory over the Pecos Panthers April 28 at McCurdy. The Bobcats trailed 8-5 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, but scored five runs to beat Pecos in District 2A-AA play. Samantha Moquino drove in the tying and winning runs with a double.
